Designed by artist Mary Judge, and inspired by the terraced hills of Umbria, Italy, this ceramic ‘pinzimonio’ when filled with olive oil has a gradation of hues of the olive oil as it fills the white terraced dish, is beautiful. A marriage of form and function and a feast for the eyes and tastebuds alike. Guests are invited to dip bread in a small bowl of seasoned olive oil. Baskets of fresh country bread or steamed vegetables are excellent when dipped in a seasonal oil and add a bit of balsamic vinegar to fill the pool in the base of the dish. Enjoy!
