Lemon and Citrus Adds Brightness
February is Lemon Month…that’s what the experts say! So what’s better in the doldrums of winter than to beam ourselves into the brightness of citrus in our menu. We are replenishing our inventory and highlighting new product that will make you feel you are transformed to a warmer climate.
Our assortment includes our best selling Award Winning Meyer Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil where the lemons are crushed along with the Arbequina olives during harvest for a delicate blend from California. We also have a Sicilian Lemon where the essence of natural lemon is infused in an Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil to give it a strong flavor that holds up to any marinade…chicken is perfect! Two choices for your discerning palate.
Both favorites of mine, the Citrus burst has tangerine, orange, and lime married to dark balsamic vinegar from Modena…pairs well with a variety of oils and vinegars or just by itself.
And we have more…
Can’t resist the newest arrival, not lemon, but the cuteness factor prevails…
Not to eat, but wonderful on your skin…soap made with olive oil especially for us from Ipswich…
What else? We have spices for fish as Zesty Lemon Herb, and Ginger Citrus Seasoning. Perfect for fish and chicken…and why not use these on vegetables…i.e. asparagus and peas. Artichoke and lemon are the best combination and we have a pesto and fresh baby artichokes that are to die for…
So beam yourself into adding brightness to your food…lemon as a marinade as a dressing or as a finishing touch. And come for a visit. We promise not to disappoint.
WE LOVE OUR CUSTOMERS.
