O-Med’s Picual EVOO was awarded the Best Olive Oil in Spain 2020 by the Minister of Agriculture in a blind tasting. As Spain produces about 60% of the olive oil in the world, to say the competition was tough is an understatement.
Tasting Notes: The O-Med Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil aroma is categorized as medium fruitiness with green fruits and grass. On the nose one gets tomato plant and green almond with hints of aromatic herbs. The palate gives a persistent taste of artichokes, olive leaf, dried fruits, and green walnuts. The flavor profile balances with a long peppery finish. Balance is the key word for this olive oil, providing outstanding complexity and layers of flavor to your dish when used appropriately. 500ml Bottle beautifully painted glass for 100% protection from light.

Tasting Notes: The Omed 100% Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil harvested the last week of October 2019. It’s aroma is reminiscent of fruits. It’s taste has hints of apple and above all to green bananas. it is barely bitter. It is astringent as the green banana and green almond. Persistent pungency. The color is golden, green clear, and bright.
Recommendations: Fits well with fish, all kinds of salads and dressings. Recommendable for desserts (cakes and vanilla ice ream. Painted glass bottle is 100% protection from light and beautiful. This is a universal extra virgin olive oil. Delicious. A great gift for every taste.
